As a Mentor
About
We hope to find graduate-level scientists, engineers, and STEM professionals from diverse backgrounds who want to help students reach their full potential.
Mentorship takes time and effort. Mentors are expected to meet with their mentee/s at least once a month over at least 6 months. Monthly guidelines and material from the GradMAP team will be provided.
By becoming a mentor, you will be joining a vibrant community of Filipinos around the world who are committed to helping others.

You are enrolled in or have finished a STEM-related graduate program

You are willing to take on the following responsibilities during the application process of your assigned mentee:

Maintain regular correspondence with your mentee

Help him/her identify programs that will fit his/ her goals and interests

Provide feedback on his/ her application materials

About
We aim to help students from diverse backgrounds pursue STEM careers by providing resources and mentorship through the grad school application process.
Applications can be difficult, and take time and effort. Mentees are expected to be proactive and responsible, and meet with their mentor/s at least once a month over at least 6 months. Monthly guidelines and resources from the GradMAP team will be provided.
If matched with a mentor, you will be committing to a 6-month mentorship process.

You are a college graduate or are planning to graduate by the end of A.Y. 2022-2023

You are planning to apply to graduate school programs between 2023 and 2024

All STEM fields are eligible, including those that fall under the natural and life sciences (biology, public health, physics, chemistry, geology, etc), maths, engineering, and computer science. We have limited capacity for social sciences (business, political science, law, etc) and the humanities as of now but please do sign up too!
